Homemade Pizza! Yummo!

My kiddos love to go out for pizza. In fact I believe they would go out for pizza every night if I let them. Alas there is no $5 pizza joints here. There is a Pizza Hut and a local pizza parlor. If we order pizza it is usually between $35-$45 and that is way to much. I still order out alot more than I should.

So here it is our homemade pizza. We really like it. I go crust recipe from a good friend about 10 years ago and we have used it ever since.

The crust bakes up golden brown and delicious.

Here is the recipe for quick pizza dough.
2 1/2 Cups Flour
4 Teaspoons Yeast
1 Teaspoon Salt
2 Teaspoons Sugar
Mix together first 4 ingredients.

1 Cup Warm Water
2 Tablespoons Oil
Mix these together.

Pour water mixture over dry mixture and stir. (I use my hands)

Let sit 5 minutes under bowl.

Roll out on floured surface to pizza shape and turn in the edges. Sprinkle 1 Tablespoon cornmeal on pizza pan before placing the dough on the pan. Make pizza to your liking and bake at 400 for 16-18 minutes.

I usually double the recipe and that makes 2 big pizzas. Enough to feed the 9 of us. Have a great night!
